“Women and Heart Attacks: Symptoms, Risks, and Prevention”

KOMPAS.com – Heart attacks can strike anyone, both old and young and men and women. But in women, these health problems are more deadly.

According to the Ministry of Health (Ministry of Health), women are twice as likely to die within a year after suffering a heart attack than men.

These results were obtained from research by the University of Leeds in England and the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. They explained that this was because women tended not to receive the same treatment services as men.

To prevent such adverse events from happening, women must be vigilant and understand the symptoms of a heart attack.

The sooner you get treatment, the higher the potential for heart attack sufferers to recover and be able to do activities as before.
