A woman was shot and wounded in a shooting near a playground Sunday night in the Bronx, New York City Police said.
According to the authorities the incident occurred in 1631 Nelson Avenue around 8:45 pm when the 25-year-old woman was shot in the man. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
So far it is unknown if the woman was the target of the shooting or if it was an innocent person, but she told the authorities that she heard a gunshot and then felt pain.
The authorities are investigating the facts.
