North Jakarta Metro Police (Jakut) investigated the case of finding a female body, with the initial S (51), with a gunshot wound to the left chest in the Pantai Indah Kapuk Residential House. Police found a firearm in the victim’s side.
As reported by Antara, North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Comr. Gidion Arif Setyawan stated that the police are still investigating the results of the crime scene (TKP), up to the results of an expert examination.
“(Temporary allegation) we cannot conclude, because a weapon unit was found beside the victim. Therefore we have to do a crime scene analysis, a comprehensive forensic test so that we can determine what incident actually happened,” said Gidion, Thursday (9/2 /2022).
According to information received by investigators, the woman was the owner of the gun that was at the TKP.
Called, possession of firearms for self-defense. Remember, the victim is a businessman, and has a position in a private company in the field of logistics.
However, the police could not confirm if the cause of the incident was suicide.
Gunshots were heard
The discovery of S’s body occurred on Wednesday (8/2) evening. Called the police, witnesses around the scene heard gunshots.
“On the left chest, not in the stomach. There were residents who heard gunshots,” said Gidion.
Gidion added that the police immediately went to the scene of the incident after receiving the report. The room where S’s body was found was still locked from the inside.
