The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that the companies operating in the transportation activity started to monitor the road transportation in real time with the Transportation Electronic Tracking and Control System (U-ETDS), which provides electronic tracking of the goods, cargo and passenger movements they carry.

“The number of people traveling by bus due to Covid-19 fell below 300 from 180 thousand per day. 225 thousand 733 passengers were carried on 7 thousand 873 flights on March 1, when measures were initiated gradually, and 156 thousand 821 passengers on 7 thousand 19 flights on 11 March. Within the framework of the measures taken, the number of trips gradually decreased every day in the following days.
” MEASURES ARE PROVIDELY IMPLEMENTED IN BUSES ”
Pointing out that the precautions against the epidemic in buses continue without interruption, Karaismailoğlu reminded that over 50 percent of the passenger transportation capacity is not received in all urban and intercity public transportation vehicles in the provinces and districts.
Underlining that it is also paid attention to the way the passengers in the vehicle sit in a way that prevents the contact of passengers with each other, Karaismailoğlu stated that the data of the domestic passenger transport sector are also shared with the ministries and governorates. Karaismailoğlu noted that the measures were continued to be implemented meticulously.

Minister Karaismailoğlu pointed out that the results of the measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic began to be taken and made the following evaluations:
