New Delhi. The Delhi Traffic Police has imposed a fine of Rs 11,000 on the driver after a video of a woman hugging a two-wheeler driver while sitting on the petrol tank of a moving bike went viral. In the video, a man can be seen riding a bike and a woman sitting on a petrol tank without a helmet facing the driver and hugging the driver. The accused two-wheeler driver can also be seen overtaking several vehicles.
Delhi Police said in a tweet, ‘Taking cognizance of the viral video of dangerous two wheeler driving, Delhi Traffic Police has registered a case against the offender under relevant sections. A total fine of Rs 11,000 has also been imposed.
Case registered for dangerous driving without helmet and license
Police said that they have registered a case against the two-wheeler driver for driving without helmet and without license, driving in a dangerous manner. The traffic police has urged people to drive safely and not to copy film scenes.
