A 30-year-old woman from Geneva was reported missing on Friday. Now she was found lifeless in the canton of Vaud on Saturday. Initial police investigations indicate an accident.
A woman’s body was found on Saturday near the Plan Névé mountain hut in the Vaudois Alps. A hiker discovered the dead woman at 2200 meters above sea level around 1:20 p.m. The alarmed Rega could only determine the death of the woman. According to the Cantonal Police of Vaud, the woman is a 30-year-old Hungarian who lives in Geneva.

According to initial findings, the woman fell about 70 meters into the depth. So far, an accident has been assumed, but the exact circumstances are still unclear. The public prosecutor’s office has initiated a corresponding investigation.
