A woman fell into a three-meter shaft in the center of Sofia near the intersection of Dondukov Blvd. and Veslets St.

Teams of the police, emergency services and the fire department have arrived at the scene. The woman was taken to hospital. According to bTV, she is in serious condition.
The “Municipal Construction Control” Directorate stated that an investigation into the case is already underway.
“Responsibility lies solely with the owners of the building, as they neglected the condition of the shaft and did not maintain it in good condition,” said Tsvetan Todorov, Directorate of Municipal Construction Control.
