A 65-year-old woman from Arnhem was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon because she was doused with caustic liquid while feeding her horses. Two suspects are being sought, reports the law enforcement Friday.
The woman was standing in a meadow on Wagnerlaan when two men walked up to her somewhere between 5.15 pm and 5.45 pm. One of the two suspects threw an unknown liquid at the woman, after which she was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The victim told police that she saw the men, both around 20 years old, walking around the pasture earlier in the day. It is unclear how she is doing now.
Police looking for witnesses. It is also investigated which liquid has been used.
