Pforzheim. The police in Pforzheim stopped a cyclist and a man on an e-scooter on Tuesday and early Wednesday morning, respectively. Both had obviously had too much to drink.
In Pforzheim, a 51-year-old cyclist was so drunk around 12 noon on Tuesday that he fell on the sidewalk on Brötzinger Strasse and was slightly injured. The police determined that he had a value of around 2.2 per mille by means of an alcohol pre-test. During the inspection, the 51-year-old behaved so aggressively that he had to be taken into custody to sober him up.
In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday in Pforzheim at around 1 a.m., a patrol stopped the driver of an e-scooter in Goethestrasse. During the subsequent inspection, the officers noticed a smell of alcohol. An alcohol pre-test showed a value of around 1.4 per thousand.
