Analyzes of the optimal structure for the merger of PGNiG with Orlen and Lotos are underway. Here, PKN Orlen plays a leading role, and everything takes place under the supervision of the Minister of State Assets – said Paweł Majewski, president of PGNiG. – We expect that all these works in an optimistic variant may result in the merger in the middle of next year – he said in an interview with money.pl conducted during the Economic Forum in Karpacz. What does this mean for shareholders? – I think it will be a measurable benefit – Majewski replied. – In exchange for the shares of the companies owned so far, they will gain shares of a multi-energy concern, a powerful, diversified, capable of competing on foreign markets, capable of making huge investments – he argued.
