Educational centers and institutes from various cities in Galicia have been recognized in the second edition of the #DgochoEu Awards for videos in Galician. The awards were distributed by the Corporation of Radio and Television of Galicia (CRTVG).
The gala, which took place at the Cidade da Cultura in Santiago de Compostela, was attended by more than 700 students from 20 schools. In the category of Primary Education, the gold award went to CEIP Ramn Cabanillas de Santiago. The silver award was given to CEIP Plurilinge de Ponzos de Ferrol, and the bronze award went to CPR Plurilinge Sagrado Corazn de Praceres de Pontevedra.
In the Secondary Education category, the gold award was won by IES Monte Carrasco in Cangas. IES Plurilinge Fontem Albei in A Fonsagrada (Lugo) received the silver award, and EFA A Cancela from As Neves (Pontevedra) won the bronze award.
Special prizes from the jury were awarded to the videos sent by CEIP of Quiroga (Lugo) in the Primary category and IES N1 of A Estrada (Pontevedra) in Secondary Education.
In addition to the video awards, the ‘A song for Esther’ contest was also resolved. The first prize went to King Kids with the theme ‘Dgocho Eu’. The second place was awarded to ‘Olimpadas ruralis’ by Diego de Braelle, followed by ‘Lies that turn on the lime’ by Chamaquito Pistolas, ‘Ro’ by Rhome, and ‘Dche igual’ by Hydn and Chris Indian.
The gala will be broadcasted by Televisin de Galicia on May 17, Da das Letras Galegas, at 12:00 hours. The event was made possible with the collaboration of the Xunta and Gadis.
