Windows 10 Will Be More Aggressive Blocking Unwanted Apps

SAN FRANCISCO, iNews.id – Windows Security has come a long way since its inception. This software can detect and block applications that are considered unwanted.

However, Microsoft seems to be changing things and improving security, with Windows 10 soon to be more aggressive in blocking unwanted apps (PUA).

PUAs are not always considered malware or malicious. At least not in the sense that it can destroy your computer and steal the files on it, as quoted from Ubergizmo.

Instead, PUA may refer to applications such as adware or those that have a negative impact on your privacy. That is why in some cases Microsoft may block or warn users when it detects such an application.

This feature was introduced in the May 2020 update. But the software giant has announced that starting August 2021, it will be enabled by default.
