Several EU politicians may fear for the future, after the main suspect in the corruption scandal promised the police to “tell everything”.
– It is important to understand that this is a broken man who does not have much left to live for, said lawyer Marc Uyttendaele on Monday.
He represents the Italian Pier Antonio Panzeri, who has been imprisoned in Belgium since 9 December last year. The fall has been brutal for the former politician, who in recent years has profiled himself as a human rights defender.
