The Berliner by choice is currently forced to take a sports break. A cruciate ligament tear in November last year forced the pretty blonde to go to the tennis court for a while. This weekend she could only watch the Berlin lawn tournament and stand in front of the camera as an expert. “At the moment I’m painless, but I can’t go jogging again,” she says Daily mirror. “Here at Rot-Weiß I gave interviews after the Wimbledon final in 2013,” she recalls. She would love to get involved again and get really fit again.
Sabine Lisicki “applies” for “Let’s Dance”
Is “Let’s Dance” the perfect intermediate step on the way to old fitness? Sabine Lisicki posted a story on Instagram in which she congratulated professional dancer Renata Lusin on her first steps with a tennis racket in hand. The “Let’s Dance” winner (won with soccer player Rúrik Gíslason) is currently on vacation with her husband, but remains active there too and tries out a sport that is new to her. “I’m happy to see your enthusiasm for tennis,” writes Sabine Lisicki. And: “Now I just have to learn to dance.”

It goes without saying that Valentin Lusin, who came second this year with GZSZ star Valentina Pahde, immediately picks up on this comment and invites the tennis queen to “his” show.
