After it became known that Will Smith’s wife, Jada, had an affair with rapper August Alsina, the news is again taking force by new statements.
A few months ago, August confessed that he made the decision to tell his affair with Jada to be honest with himself and take control of his life, however, now he revealed more details of the romance to People magazine.
Alsina decided to speak up on the subject when rumors about her romance with the 48-year-old presenter began to affect her career. The singer also explained that he wishes to be a good example for his three Chaylin nieces, Amaiyay Kayden, of whom he is his tutor.
“I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life,” he said, adding: “I dedicated myself to that, I gave myself completely, so much that I can die right now and be fine knowing that I really gave myself to someone.”
Alsina says she never intended to “cause trouble” for the Smiths, whom she says she has “deep respect,” but she also has no regrets about sharing their truth.
“I will always be in the driver’s seat of my life and control what I say. I can’t let anyone else do that for me,” he said.
Finally, the rapper clarified that he maintains a good relationship with the Smiths and that this will not change due to any of the rumors that circulate around him.
