On Saturday there was a traffic accident between a motorcycle and a pedestrian in Rizenbach BE shortly before 4 p.m., the Bern cantonal police said

A 23-year-old motorbike driver drove on the narrow connecting road towards Rizenbach. There was a collision with a 55-year-old pedestrian. This was seriously injured.

Motorbike driver also injured
The out-patient team brought the woman to the hospital. During the collision, the motorcyclist also fell and was slightly injured – but did not have to go to the hospital.

The cantonal police in Bern have started investigations to clarify the course of the accident. (Tractor unit)
