Dungarpur SP Kundan Kanwaria told that on August 9, Hemant Joshi, a resident of the rehabilitation colony of Sagwada town, had died. The wife and son of the deceased were about to perform the last rites of the old man, calling it a normal death. But during the last bath of the dead body at the cremation ground, the relatives saw the marks of injuries on the body of the old man. He got suspicious about this. Meanwhile, a relative called the police and informed about it.

On this, the police reached the cremation ground and took the dead body in their possession. Later, after getting the post-mortem of the dead body done in the mortuary of Sagwara Hospital, the investigation of the case was started. The post mortem report revealed that Hemant was murdered. On this, the police questioned Mukesh Joshi, son of the deceased Hemant and his wife Sushila Joshi. During interrogation, both confessed to killing Hemant along with a young man. On this, the police arrested the deceased’s wife and his son on charges of murder.

Father gave poison to daughter after mixing it in tea
Regarding the reasons behind the murder, accused Mukesh told that his widowed sister had a love affair and illegal relationship with Dayalal alias Deepak. His father Hemant objected to this. Because of this, Hemant had mixed poison in the tea of ​​his widowed daughter and made her drink on August 8. Due to this his health had deteriorated. He was admitted to Sagwada Hospital in critical condition. His treatment is going on there.

Police is looking for the third accused
Hemant had a dispute with his wife and son regarding the daughter’s relationship. During that time Dayalal also came there. Mukesh attacked his father Hemant with a stick and Dayalal also showered sticks on him. Due to this Hemant died. Later, the accused made preparations to perform the last rites of Hemant at the crematorium by telling him that it was an accidental death. The SP told that the police is on the lookout for the third accused in the case, Dayalal.
