JAKARTA – Gus Miftah | also commented on the custody of Gala Sky, the son of the couple Vanessa Angel and Bibi Andriansyah, which is now being fought over by two families in court.
Bibi’s father registered Gala’s application for guardianship at the West Jakarta Religious Court, while Vanessa’s father filed it at the Central Jakarta Religious Court.
Seeing the chaos, Gus Miftah gave his views regarding the person who has the right to take care of the 1-year-old boy. He revealed, in Islamic law, the person who is entitled to take care of Gala is the closest person and is still in the same line with him.
“The person who is closest to the child, whether it’s the mother or whoever, is the family consensus,” he said when met by media crews in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (23/11/2021).
