KONTAN.CO.ID – GENEVA. The origin of the corona virus is still being debated. The World Health Organization (WHO) has reiterated the origin of the emergence of the new corona virus or Covid-19. According to WHO, the corona virus emerged naturally and was not spread by any agency.
“The virus occurs naturally,” said WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at a press conference on COVID-19, last weekend as quoted. Xinhua.
“WHO believes in science and evidence and that’s why we say science, solutions and solidarity,” he said.

Much research on the origin of the virus has strongly indicated that the virus, or SARS-CoV-2, originated naturally rather than from any institution.
Previously, the President of the United States (US) was most keen to ask for the origin of the corona outbreak so that it spread throughout the world.
Trump asked China to be transparent about the origin of the corona outbreak which has currently killed more than 1 million people in the world.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo once said there was a large amount of evidence emerging from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. However, this accusation was denied by China.
Most experts believe the virus originated in a Wuhan market that sold wildlife and was transmitted from animals to humans.
WHO also denies that there is a deliberate action in the spread of the corona virus. Trump himself has stopped US funding to WHO for accusing WHO of being China-centric, aka defending China too much.
