Photo: Joachim Fildhaut Born in Wrzburg, artist Hans-Peter Porzner invited to exhibitions in the Museum of Modern Art in Munich in the 1990s, with card motifs by Vermeer, Goya and others. Mzene paid tens of thousands in prestigious art magazines for large-format advertisements in favor of these imaginary exhibitions in a really non-existent “MfMK Mnchen”, which Porzner withdrew from the art market. This financial transaction was part of his art market art, with which he sometimes upset the most respected Documenta participants. The current activities of the Munich academy graduate in his hometown act as a complement to the mere exhibitions in Munich. Instead of the MfMK Munich, Wrzburg outdoor station, in the calendar week 24 in the Neutorstrasse here the gallery “Komma und Paul” reopened its exhibition “Painting 3.0 Painting in the human age” after the Corona break had to close. During the break, a shocking additional work of art was created, Matthias Flury’s quarantine diary, which now significantly enriches the exhibition. Here a person reacted in colored pencil drawings, from whom the virus had visibly pulled the floor under the feet. The viewer can of course comfort himself with the insight: The pictures are technically really well made. Seven contributors to the exhibition In individual aspects, this applies to all seven exhibition participants. Porzner did not gather huge talents in the conventional sense, but half a dozen people who – each with a certain something! – do a predominantly figurative painting “3.0”. In addition, they are able to fully support their man theoretically and historically, if not on their own, so excited or coached by Hans-Peter Porzner at the latest. So we are actually dealing with a group of artists whose advanced spokesman Steven van Heeg comes up with a name for their common purpose without flaring: Main Franconian Expressionism. The Quarantne booklets by Mattias Flury can be browsed under a droplet protection. Photo: Joachim Fildhaut – Gallery owner Heeg often quotes mythology and history in his comic paintings. He usually provides the visitor service and can of course explain the 20 or so exhibits. He is particularly interested in showing other Main Franconian Expressionisms, which are stored in three files on a high board. In addition to the above, Sieghart Bhme, C.-M. Eichhorn, Joe Gudole and Christian Hummel.
