Let’s remain rational and understand that the supply of Patriot is not just another decision, it is a psychological breakthrough. From the very first days when we started talking about the Patriot with Americans, we heard ‘no.’ And the fact that it happened is another proof that another taboo has been lifted, another wall has fallen.” underlined the foreign minister.

He believes that in negotiations with partners there will be no more difficult topics than providing Ukraine with a patriot.

“They’re not implemented, maybe all at the same time on the same day, but it’s like in a computer game, you open the levels one by one… Of all the types of weapons, the Patriot is the hardest . [Это] very complex and expensive technology, technology-symbol. I’m not saying we’ll have all the guns in a week or a month, but I don’t expect anything more complicated than the Patriot story. Whatever the European allies of the United States in NATO say, they are still guided by US decisions. So it was with artillery, when the Americans gave – they gave, so it was with HIMARS. We will do the same with the Patriot, the Americans gave it – we will talk to others,” Kuleba said.

In his opinion, Ukraine will receive rockets from partners next year ATACMS, tanks and modern attack drones. At the same time, the minister added that all “it will also depend on the situation on the battlefield”.
