As with Facebook, WhatsApp is already preparing the launch of the reactions to messages on your platform, which are already found in some applications such as Facebook, Messenger and Instagram, so now in addition to responding with stickers you can do so with a happy, sad, angry emoji, among others.
According to WABeta Info, the reactions will come out soon in each of the WhatsApp services and they even pointed out that the reactions in the messages are already in the beta phase and that it will arrive at the end of the year for all users of this application, specifically the development for iOS has been detected, but work continues for Android.
This feature, which is already available in Facebook Messenger chats, will be enabled in both individual chat threads and group chats. In this case, all those who are part of the groups will be able to access the section in which it is reported who has reacted to a certain message.
As indicated by the portal, reactions will be limited to six emojis and the user will only be able to select one reaction per message. The feature has been tested during the development of the WhatsApp beta for iOS. However, the social network is working to bring this ability to Android devices.
The website also reported that there is currently no release date for the update of this new tool on WhatsApp, but that they will briefly be reporting on these new emerging trends.
How to activate the reactions before they are launched?
The website explains that the reactions to WhatsApp messages are still in beta, but if they want to have them before, the user must register as a beta tester to have this function.
