short message app, WhatsApp will have new features related to video delivery. This new feature allows users to send videos, but with better quality or resolution.
So far, it is known that the quality obtained by video recipients from fellow Whatsapp users is considered poor due to automatic compression by the system. That’s why the application will upgrade its video sharing feature in a later update.
Quotes Indian Express, a new feature will let users choose between the best quality or data packet savings in video delivery. While the automatic mode will determine the quality of the shared video clip.
However, the new WhatsApp feature is still under development and is not working yet.
Quotes Live Mint, Best Quality mode will allow users to share videos in the resolution saved on the original device.
Although the quality is much better, users will notice a longer upload period compared to automatic mode, especially for mobile devices running with slow internet speeds.
Data saver mode will send videos in the most compressed version, compared to the other two options.
Recently, WhatsApp has also introduced the View Once feature in the beta version of the Android app. This feature allows users to send videos or images and can only be seen once by the recipient.
WhatsApp is rolling out the show once feature to WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.21.14.3. Beta users who are using this version and still don’t see the feature can receive it in a future update. iOS Beta users will also get the feature soon.
