Apparently, the WhatsApp platform is developing a new interface to include in the application that aims to offer voice calls, both individual and group, optimized, in the Android and iOS operating systems.
The WABetaInfo website, known for its reliability in this type of disclosure, advances the information. The same site even comes up with screenshots of current and future interfaces so users can see changes that may be on the way.
Unfortunately, the new interface is still in the hands of the WhatsApp platform programmers and, therefore, it’s not even available in beta version for testing. But from the information now revealed, it promises an optimized and more up-to-date calling experience.
WhatsApp has been improving the calling features on the platform
The WABetaInfo website did not reveal more details about the new interface, but it is expected that it will be made available simultaneously for the Android and iOS operating systems. Even though the screenshot released presents the new interface in an Apple environment.
Recently, the chat platform has been improving the voice calling experience in the application. An example of this is the feature now available that allows other users to directly join a voice call already in progress.
Meanwhile, it was also revealed that the platform is also working on new end-to-end encryption indicators for all content. In other words, text, audio, video and backups will have new end-to-end encryption indicators that offer a new level of security.

More recently, the chat platform made available to all users a new feature. It is now possible to listen to voice messages before they are sent to their recipient.
Users can use the new feature in individual or group conversations, whether in an Android or iOS environment. And, if they consider that the message cannot go to its final destination, users can delete it from the terminals and make a new recording.
