At Christmas, Latvian Radio, Latvian Television and ReTV will broadcast Maestro Raimonds Pauls and the poet Jānis Peters’ new program “Comfort”, in which eight songs composed by Maestro with the words of the poet Jānis Peter will premiere. The new concert program will feature works by the poet Jānis Peter created especially for this Christmas and the music of Maestro – as a gift, inspiration and consolation to every listener in this troubled time.
In the 1st studio of Latvian Radio, they will be performed by Maestro himself at the piano, and by the young promising singer Paula Saija, actor Gundars Grasbergs and the vocal group “Insomnia”, who will have a concert program with new arrangements and unheard compositions.
