TYPE, JAKARTA – WhatsApp’s parent company, Meta, is currently developing new features on their chat platform. WhatsApp is rumored to be changing its appearance when users share Channel statuses to their status page.
Quoted from WABetaInfo, Wednesday (27/12/2023). This information was revealed via WhatsApp beta for Android (v.2.24.1.6). However, currently this feature is still available on a limited basis to some beta testers.
Users who have received WhatsApp update v.2.24.1.6 can see the new appearance in the application. It is reported that in the next few weeks this feature will be launched globally to provide a new experience to users.
Apart from that, WhatsApp will provide clearer content information by creating a special display on channel updates. Later, this layout will be more intuitive so that it will be easier for users to interact.

The interface presented will be similar to the display when users share on Instagram Stories. WhatsApp has also just launched a feature for sending photos and videos in HD quality.
