KONTAN.CO.ID – WhatsApp add new option Last Seen, can be hidden from certain contacts. Still under development, this new option adds options “My Contacts Except…” on the menu Privacy, where you can hide status Last Seen of certain contacts.
WhatsApp, an application that is frequently used by users smartphone it will undergo an overhaul. Recently, WhatsApp is going to make an overhaul to improve the privacy of its users.
As we know, privacy is one of the most important things. Not surprisingly, WhatsApp also presents several features to maintain the privacy of its users.
One of them is a feature that displays status Last Seen or last seen. The status shows when the user was last seen using the application.
Simply put, status Last Seen shows when the user last accessed or used WhatsApp.
Talking about status Last Seen, WhatsApp will present additional options that make your privacy even more secure. Quoting from page WABetainfo, WhatsApp party is developing options “My Contacts Except…” which will be added in privacy settings Last Seen.

As we know, currently there are only three options to hide status Last Seen, namely:
- Everyone
- My Contancts
- Nobody
In the future, new options will be added that can hide status Last Seen of the specific contact you want. For example, status Last Seen do not want to be seen by contact A but not visible to contact B.
Then the option “My Contancts Except…” you can choose. Thus the status Last Seen will not be visible to the contacts you have added to the list.
If you want to try this feature, it’s currently not available. WhatsApp is still developing this option and it is only available in the Beta version of the WhatsApp application.
