What to do in Elche: Revlver acts on Friday at the Gran Teatro

The tour with which the group Stir celebrates 30 years of career on stages arrives this week at Great Theater of Elche. The performance of Carlos Goñi And yours will take place this Friday from 9pm. The concert has an expected duration of 150 minutes and the price of tickets, without discount, ranges between 31 and 35 euros. “Revolver, 30 Years” is a short phrase, simple and apparently easy to read. But behind it is condensed a tour that includes a lifetime in its artistic, professional and personal aspects. Revolver’s trajectory may be known to all, but this unique concert aims to put music to all that experience. It is the songs of Revolver -of Carlos Goñi- that have lit the way during these 30 years and it is time to pay them a small tribute and frame them within the career of the band.

In Revolver, 30 Years There will be the hymns of always, they can not miss on this tour. There will also be less common songs -which have a very important place- and a good number of surprises to make each concert an unforgettable moment, a magical encounter between the public and the artist in a unique atmosphere of celebration.

The Grand Theater celebrates its centenary in 2020 at the service of the entertainment and culture of the people of Elche. It was in that distant year 1920 when it opened its doors with the name “Kursaal”. And although most of its history has been linked to film screenings, since it became municipal property in 1996 after the timely renovation, it has established itself as a badge of the city’s performing and musical arts. For this reason, the presentation of the catalog of performances of various genres for the period from February to June -more than forty- is loaded with novelties and big names.

So, some personalities outside the group Stir who will step on the tables of the Grand Theater during the next five-month period, as highlighted by the municipal head of the Culture area, the mayor Marga Antón, are: Blanca Portillo, Aitana Sánchez Gijón, José María Pou, Verónica Forqué, Ara Malikian, El Arrebato, Jeanette, El Cabrero, magicians Jandro and Jorge Blas, Comandante Lara, comedians Joaquín Reyes and Leo Harlem or Antonia San Juan. Without forgetting that for this centennial season the musicals dedicated to Lina Morgan, Camilo Sesto or the British band Queen have also been prepared.
