Rumors of a change of manager were sticking out Manchester United after two consecutive defeats. Patrice Evra implies his disagreement.
Rumors of a change of manager have surrounded Manchester United. That was after the ‘Red Devils’ lost to Arsenal in Premier League last week and humiliated Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League at midweek.
Position Ole Gunnar Solskjaer start rocking, with Mauricio Pochettino linked as its replacement. Pochettino has remained out of work since being sacked by Tottenham Hotspur last year and recently declared he is ready to return to work.
But rumors of a change of manager were not too positively responded to by some former MU players. Previously Robin van Persie and Dimitar Berbatov expressed their doubts that appointing a new manager could make MU immediately look good and consistent.
Former MU defender Patrice Evra also expressed his views. He indicated that the problem Manchester United not solely at the manager, but at the level of the board of directors.
“New manager ..? How about a new director?” he wrote on Instagram.
MU’s directors are already familiar with the spotlight, especially the CEO, Ed Woodward. Woodward is a figure who handles all team transfers and he is considered to have often failed to build the squad the manager needs.
