Uzone.id – The film ‘As Always’ directed by Serangkai Films and Samsung has been released. This 11 minute short film was shot entirely by camera smartphone Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G.
This short film is the result of the work of Serangkai Films through the initiative of Samsung Galaxy Movie Studio 2022 and is directly mentored by a well-known young director, Angga Dwimas Sasongko.
Process shooting the short film was done entirely using the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G camera and it only took 1 day to complete scene demi scene from start to finish.
Andi Airin, Head of MX Marketing for Samsung Mobile Experience, Samsung Electronics Indonesia explained some of the features of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G used by the production team for the short film ‘As Always’.

There are several features used in the making of this short film, played by Reza Rahadian and Pevita Pearce. One of them is a 108MP main camera with a lens wide capable of capturing HDR10+ format video.
The camera has recording capabilities up to 8K, so it’s claimed able to provide experience filmmaking professional use smartphone be more beautiful.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G camera is also supported by the Nightography feature. This feature is called very helpful process shooting the movie ‘As Always’, because almost 70 percent of the shooting is done in low light.
According to Anggita Puri, the director of As Always, the Nightography feature can accommodate your needs treatment visual to be achieved.
“We took a lot of scenes in low light conditions and at night, the recordings with the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G were very clear, the colors were very vivid, and the details were cinematic even in low light conditions,” he added.
Other features of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G camera that are utilized are Cinematic Camera Movement. The feature can capture beauty shot claimed smooth when doing a moving scene (moving scene).
Feature Pro Mode can also help Puri et al to set the mood in certain scenes. Angga also said that this Pro Mode feature comes with features similar to professional cameras, starting from ISO, exposure, frame rate, white balanceuntil shutter speed manually.

Puri assesses that the recording process will not run optimally if the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G battery does not have good performance. Fortunately, this phone brings 5,000mAh battery that lasts all day.
“One more convenience that I feel, at first I was a little doubtful that shooting would be hassled back and forth to charge the battery because I was using a smartphone, but it turns out that shooting from morning to night is very safe thanks to All Day Battery,” added Puri.
For editing after a day of shooting, Puri revealed that they only need 1 week for post-production or editing.
“The good thing is that we can really play with colors here, the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G can capture light really well, so we don’t need much time to get it done. touch-up so the post-pro time can be shorter,” said Puri.
“One thing that is also interesting is the sensor that has been strong. You can edit directly on your device, you can also change it using filters, so it’s more free,” added Angga.
