“Weapon systems and ammunition from the United States are arriving, but not everything has arrived yet. It is already affecting (on the course of the war – UNIAN) like the successful attacks on ammunition stores that we have seen in recent days. This will continue. This puts the Russians in a more vulnerable position “, – he said.
According to Volker, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to free more settlements when new weapons systems arrive at the front.

“In fact, a lot of Western weapons are already in Ukraine. Javelins, Stingers, howitzers and so on. But now we are talking about new systems – HIMARS and NASAMS. They have not arrived yet, but they are on their way,” he said.
When asked by a journalist about whether it is possible to receive new equipment in July and August, Volker answered in the affirmative.
“Lend-lease is a special way for the US administration to use its own stocks and transfer them to Ukraine, while transferring them quickly. This is a process that has been going on for some time. We transfer systems to Ukraine and buy new ones to replace them. The United States and its partners are looking for ways to speed up this process,” the former US Special Representative in Ukraine said.
