West Ham wants season to be annulled: ‘Would be a blow to Liverpool’

Karren Brady, vice president of West Ham United, thinks the current Premier League season should be annulled. She claims that this topic will be discussed on Tuesday at a meeting with representatives of all clubs from the top English football division.

In a column in The Sun, Brady argues for tough measures. “What if the competition can’t be completed?” She wonders. “Since games in both the Premier League and Football Leagues are affected, voiding this entire season is the only thing we can do. Who knows who would be relegated or promoted if not all games were played?”

The director of West Ham United, which is saliently in need of relegation and could use an annulment of the season, knows that a club like Liverpool would be totally against the plan. “It would be a huge blow to them because they could be deprived of their first league title in thirty years. But this will be discussed at next week’s emergency meeting.”
