Welding suits in Counter-Strike will be automatically silenced NOW

Players of the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for which “more than the average number of complaints” are submitted will automatically be silenced. That made maker Valve announced this week.

Valve says he has been looking for a “more precise” way to combat verbal abuse. For this, players had to indicate themselves whether or not they wanted to receive text or audio chat.

Under the new system, players will initially receive a warning if too many complaints are submitted about them. If more complaints follow, they are automatically put on ‘silent’, so that other players don’t hear from them anymore.

Only when the player has collected a certain amount of points, will this mute status be removed again. Other players can also choose in a menu to still be able to hear that player.

The system counts all complaints that are classified as ‘Abusive Communications or Profile’, Valve writes. To prevent abuse, complaints count more strongly if the complainant plays more or submits few complaints.
