The summer and tropical heat is expected to end this weekend. From Friday evening there is a local chance of a heavy rain and thunderstorm and the rest of the days are also hit and miss.
From Friday afternoon, it is wise to keep an eye on the rain radar, especially in the southern provinces, but it will remain dry until evening in most places. Very local in the south can be a tough mood that can be accompanied by thunder, hail and strong gusts of wind.
You should also be careful in the afternoon in the sun. With sun power 8 on a scale of 10, unprotected skin can burn in as little as 10 to 15 minutes.
In the evening and night there is also a chance of a heavy shower in the rest of the country. However, temperatures remain on the high side, which can make it feel more oppressive due to the high humidity.
It does not really cool down in the night from Friday to Saturday. In some places, the temperature will again not fall below 20 degrees, a so-called tropical night.
Saturday still a chance of summer heat, Sunday fresher
On Saturday morning spicy rain and thunderstorms will again sweep from southwest to northeast across the country. Especially in the east there is a chance of a thunderstorm, where the room can reach 27 degrees. If Brabant reaches 25 degrees, then there is officially a heat wave. In the west it gets less warm with a maximum of 22 to 24 degrees.
During the afternoon and evening the chance of a shower decreases slightly. The sun can be seen every now and then on Saturday.
On Sunday it will be hit and miss and there is the occasional chance of a shower. However, these are much less intense than Saturday. With a maximum of 21 degrees and a moderate southwest wind, it is a lot fresher.
