Just like the past two days, the upcoming weekend will be chilly. Rain falls on the land from time to time. Especially on Saturday there is a strong wind that can cause nuisance.
The first day of the weekend is autumnal, with maximum temperatures between 13 and 16 degrees. The southwest wind can be quite strong above land. At the sea there is strong to strong wind and gusts of about 80 to 90 kilometers per hour can occur. Strong gusts can also occur above land.
On Saturday it will be cloudy and rain showers will sweep across the country from the west. There may be less rainfall in the east and southeast than in the rest of the country. Sunday also turns into a rainy day, with occasional showers scattered across the country.
Until Monday, some weather models show 20 to 40 millimeters of rain, but this does not immediately solve the drought. Because there are a lot of rain showers, the amount of precipitation per location can vary greatly. Good news for hay fever sufferers: the pollen will remove many pollen from the air.
The wind picks up less on Sunday than Saturday and becomes moderate to strong. The wind in the northern half of the country remains strong. Also on Sunday it does not get warmer than about 15 to 16 degrees, but then the sun does occasionally show up for a while.
