Erfurt (dpa / th) – According to the forecast by the German Weather Service (DWD), there will be no fresh snow in Thuringia at the weekend. According to the meteorologists, there should be no precipitation on Saturday with light clouds. But it should stay cold in winter: On Saturday, the DWD expects maximum temperatures of minus eight to minus five degrees. Sunday night turns frosty. The temperatures fall into the double-digit minus range, locally it can be down to minus 20 degrees.

According to the forecast, Sunday should be sunny after the fog fields dissolve. The temperatures rise to a maximum of minus six to minus two degrees. The night on Monday will be frosty again at between minus eleven to minus 20 degrees.

The sunshine could end again on Monday. According to the forecast, the foothills of a low over the North Atlantic bring milder and more humid air to Germany. In Thuringia, there could be new snow and freezing rain as early as Monday afternoon.
