Good weather continues to dominate Italy. In the weather forecast for 10 October on La7, the meteorologist Paolo Sottocorona does not see the arrival of cold weather even in this entire second week of the tenth month of the year: “There is a kind of infiltration, the clouds have entered the north- east, there are no significant consequences, no rain is expected during the day. Today there is some fog in Liguria and Tuscany, accompanied by some light drizzle. The situation in the lower Tyrrhenian Sea is similar, with very isolated but also intense phenomena forecast. In such a peaceful context it seems something strange. For tomorrow, Wednesday 11 October, the weather structure does not change, it is very similar, with clouds and possible light drizzle, this time an intense phenomenon could concern eastern Sicily, with light rain in the lower Tyrrhenian Sea. Thursday 12 October there is the usual situation between Liguria and Tuscany, a few more clouds on the lower Tyrrhenian Sea, on Etna. Time in its general line does not change.”
Sottocorona, after a nice little exchange with the director, shows the winds and then the maximum temperatures expected for today: “They are always quite high, more in the South than in the North, as they should be. The anomaly is in the North, where temperatures are higher than normal, much more than in the South, where the values are physiologically higher. The trend in maximum temperatures between today and tomorrow shows a very slight decrease in the North and the middle Tyrrhenian Sea, so they don’t rise, they fall a little.”
