The National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology of Peru (Senamhi) predicted that the maximum temperature in East Lima will be 28°C for today, Friday, February 11, 2022.

According to the entity Ministry of the Environment (Minam), the minimum temperature will be 18°C. In addition, he indicated that partial cloudy skies are expected in the early hours of the morning, changing to skies with scattered clouds towards noon and with a tendency to cloudy skies in the afternoon. There would be gusts of wind.

In West Lima, the maximum temperature would reach 26°C, while the minimum would be 20°C. Cloudy skies are expected in the early hours of the morning, changing to skies with scattered clouds towards noon, partial cloudy skies in the afternoon and cloudy skies at sunset

Senamhi reported that the summer season, which began at 10:59 am on Tuesday, December 21, will be “cooler and slightly colder” in Lima with some days of cloudiness in the mornings due to the presence of La Niña.

The deputy director of Climate Prediction of the SenamhiGrinia Ávalos, explained that we will have a “cooler summer than usual, but that over the course of the season it will gradually normalize”.

“We are going to start a slightly colder summer this December 21,” he assured.
