We will remember this until death, the hockey players glow after winning the bronze. Hadamczik congratulated

The beginning of the second period was already key in the fight for the precious metal. The national team was able to answer the Slovak comparison after only 50 seconds. “A great reaction that we needed. Our team has a big problem getting back into the match when they lose, so luckily we took the lead again quickly,” praised defender Jůzková.

In the third part, Kristýna Pátková made it 3:1, together with Daniela Pejšová, one of the two representatives who also experienced bronze success at the Women’s World Championship. The Czech team has already secured the result, and thus defeated its eastern neighbors at the Universiade for the second time.

“We came here thinking we wanted to win a medal. Passing the tournament was not easy, but we reached the semi-finals. We really wanted the plaque and I think we deserved it. It was an even nicer moment that we could enjoy it with such an amazing group,” the captain rejoiced.

Players born in 1998 and younger who studied at least in the last year could participate in the tournament. “The girls from this year could get together again and represent, it was very special. For some female hockey players, it’s the peak of their career,” coach Jakub Peslar told hokej.cz.

He praised the ward for a successful tournament. “Thank you very much to the girls! I will remember this moment for a long time. I am very proud to have been able to coach this selection. We dare to win beautiful and well-deserved medals. An indescribable feeling…” gushed coach Peslar.

Czech hockey president Alois Hadamczik also congratulated the Czech students on the medal. “I congratulate the Czech ice hockey players and the entire implementation team on the bronze medal at the Winter Universiade and thank everyone for the excellent promotion of Czech ice hockey,” he said on Twitter.
