We regret joining Al-Ahly and signing El-Gouna is the worst decision

Rami Rabei, a former Al-Ahly striker and Arab contractors, said he regretted signing Al-Ahly at the start of his Premier League career.

Rami Rabie said in statements via the “Number One” program on “Al-Nahar” channel: “If time had come back to me, I would have signed up to the Arab Contractors Club first to gain experience, and at that time I received offers from Al-Ahly and Zamalek, but I preferred red.”

He explained: “I started football with the stars of Sadat and I was sixteen years old, and then I moved to the ranks of the Goldie team, and my glory was the reason for my move to the ranks of Al-Ahly club, while I was a player in smoke.”

He continued: “Manuel Jose asked me to be patient to get the chance to play, but I refused the role of the employee player.”

Rami Rabie added that Mamdouh Abbas, president of the Zamalek club, asked to include him from the Arab contractors with Mahmoud Samir and Alaa Kamal, but he refused.

“The worst decision I made was to leave the ranks of the contractors and join El Gouna,” Rami Rabie confirmed.

He explained: “Al-Ahly made me more famous, but the contractors have the greatest credit for my career, and the copper was not the reason I was not bound with Aswan in the Premier League but rather the administration, and it helped me a lot during my career.”

He continued: “Bad conciliation required Aswan in the second season after the rise and was the reason for the departure of copper from the team, and Imad Al-Nahhas is good at dealing with strong matches against the big teams.”
