The Ataa Hamdan Volunteer Team, in cooperation with the Dubai Police General Command, represented by the General Administration of Community Happiness, the General Administration of Finance, and the Council of Safety Ambassadors, organized an initiative entitled “We Care About You” for senior citizens, for the second consecutive season at the Wafi Center in Dubai. Through it, the team delighted 45 senior citizens, by organizing an entertainment tour at the “Aya” Center in Dubai, in the presence of the “war band”, “poetry section”, and “magic tricks” section, which brought joy and joy to their souls. This came under the patronage and presence of Sheikha Jawaher bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, honorary member of the Ataa Hamdan Volunteer Team in Dubai, and in the presence of Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Administration of Dubai Police, on behalf of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and Maher Al Muraisi, Deputy Head of the Ataa Hamdan Team. Ahmed bin Ajlan, founder and head of the Attaa Hamdan Volunteer Team, said that the aim of the initiative is to make senior citizens from the emirates of Dubai and Sharjah happy, for the service they have provided to the nation, in addition to encouraging and integrating them into society in all its aspects, which makes them feel that they are still giving their life experiences. Accumulated, and thus benefiting from, this celebration of senior citizens also preserves national identity, noble religious and societal values, customs, traditions and Emirati heritage, as well as enhancing the values of solidarity, interconnectedness and compassion between all groups and segments of society.
The Ataa Hamdan team, and the strategic partners participating in the initiative, were also keen to honor the senior citizens who were celebrated, and provide them with gifts to make them happy and put a smile on their faces, in appreciation of their status and an expression of their status in the hearts of members of society.
