According to the musician, the video is made in light colors, reminding us of how important we are to each other and how important it is to support each other.
“Now we are back in a closed phase of society, when we have to spend a lot of time in isolation and separation from each other. says Mesa leader Gatis Irbe.
Although only a three-minute video narration is submitted to the audience, the process of creating it was quite time-consuming – each thing and object in the clip was moved by a centimeter to get the desired end result. The video was made in “stop motion” technique, creating 1070 frames in two days. The actors – Druvis Anusāns and Anete Klapkalne, both are dancers and choreographers, have a great merit in this process. Photographed by Kristiāns Rukuts.

The project “Mesa” was founded at the end of 2015 and is one of the most streamed music projects in Latvia. Its main creator is Gatis Irbe, known by the stage name Gacho. So far, three studio record albums have been released – “Mesa” (2016), “II” (2017) and last year – “M3SA”. All albums have received gold and platinum record statuses. In his work, the project focuses on topics that are real, lively and important in the long run.
