Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip published by the Ministry of Interior’s Snap account documented the Saudi search and rescue team heading to Turkey to participate in the search and rescue operations for the earthquake victims trapped under the rubble.
The official spokesman for the Civil Defense, Colonel Muhammad Al-Hammadi, said that, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince, and with the follow-up of His Highness the Minister of Interior, the Civil Defense shipped equipment and supplies for the Saudi search and rescue team.
He indicated that two planes will leave during the coming hours, including the Saudi search and rescue team, with all the human rescue crews, mechanisms and technical equipment. He pointed out that the team includes doctors, engineers and specialists in all search and rescue operations.
