United States President Joe Biden declares that the war against Ukraine is a strategic failure of Russia.
As an UNIAN correspondent reports, the US President said this during his speech in Warsaw.
“Despite Vladimir Putin’s brutality, there should be no doubt that this war is already a strategic failure for Russia,” Biden said.
The President of the United States said that Russian forces in Ukraine faced the strength of courageous and tough Ukrainian resistance.
“Instead of breaking Ukrainian resolve, Russian brutal tactics have strengthened resolve. Instead of dividing NATO, the West is now stronger and more united than it was before. Russia wanted less NATO presence on its border, but now he (Putin – UNIAN) has a stronger presence, more presence,” Biden said.
The US President stressed that it was Putin who was to blame for the fact that Western countries imposed economic sanctions against the Russian Federation.
Recall that Biden also told what Putin wanted to achieve by unleashing a war against Ukraine. He noted that history has proven the importance of the United States not being left behind during conflicts in Europe.
