Fighting continues near the village of Peski.
In Ukraine, the struggle against the offensive of the Russian invaders continues. One of the most difficult sectors of the front remains Bakhmut direction: the enemy hits from tanks, artillery and aircraft. At Gorlovka-Zaitsevo, the Russian troops have a partial success.

“On the Slavic direction shelling was recorded near Vernopolye, Bogorodichny, Shnurkov, Kurulka, Krasnopolye, Dolyna and Zaliman. Near the latter, the enemy also launched an air strike. The enemy is trying to replenish the loss of personnel and equipment.
On the Kramatorsk direction the enemy shelled the areas of Seversk, Grigorovka, Serebryanka and Verkhnekamensky from cannon and rocket artillery. He led the offensive in the directions of the settlements of Verkhnekamenskoye and Ivano-Daryevka, but had no success, retreated.
“In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out shelling from tanks and artillery near Pereezdnoye, Veseloe, Bakhmutsky, Soledar, Vershina and Kurdyumovka. Aircraft were used near Vyemka, Ivano-Daryevka, Disputed, Yakovlevka, Soledar and Bakhmutsky. As a result of the offensive in the direction of Gorlovka – Zaitsevo, the enemy was partially successful,” the General Staff noted.
It is also known that the invaders waged offensive battles in the directions of the settlements of Ivano-Daryevka, Vyemka, Bakhmut, Veselaia Dolina and Kodema.
“He had no success, he withdrew. After the regrouping, the enemy resumed the attack on Kodema, the fighting continues,” the General Staff said.
On the Avdeevsky direction artillery shelling was recorded near Vodiane, Alexandropol, Avdiivka and Peski. The enemy launched air strikes near Maryinka and Vodyany.
“The occupiers tried to conduct offensive battles in the areas of Spartak and Marinka, they were not successful, they retreated. Fighting continues near the village of Peski,” the message says.
As UNIAN reported, on August 9, the General Staff reported that the enemy was conducting offensive battles on Bakhmutsky and Avdiivka directions, trying to force out units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the occupied lines with artillery fire.
It is known that in Bakhmut through constant shelling Russian army the situation is deteriorating, but remains under control.
