Wanda Hamidah Shouts Insurance on Social Media, This is Prudential’s Word!

“We can confirm that the amount ofcover from the inpatient claim benefits and the surgical benefits are provided according to the customer’s plan and the policy provisions,” said Luskito Hambali, Prudential Indonesia’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer to CNBC Indonesia, Monday (11/10/2021).

He also revealed that the company always carries out its commitment to always listen to customers, and makes every effort to resolve complaints submitted directly, either through the Customer Care Center at the Prudential Indonesia office, customer line and email.

According to Luskito, as a leading life insurance company that has been present for more than 25 years in Indonesia, Prudential Indonesia always conducts business with full integrity, in accordance with good corporate governance, and obeys and implements the rights of customers according to the policy. the insurance they had purchased.

“All these things were carried out by Prudential Indonesia in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, especially the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Regulations,” he explained.

That way, he stressed, Prudential Indonesia is always able to provide protection for its customers, which to date has protected more than 2.6 million insured.

The realization of protection for customers has been proven through the payment of claims and insurance policy benefits that have been carried out by Prudential Indonesia, the total amount of which has reached IDR 8.1 trillion during January to June 2021.

“This commitment is in line with Prudential Indonesia’s efforts to be able to play an active role in realizing a healthier and more prosperous Indonesian society through the insurance products offered and the various initiatives presented,” he said.

Previously, it was Wanda Hamidah, a public figure, model and politician, who felt she was being scammed by Prudential Indonesia.

This happened after the insurance he used only provided coverage with a small value for his son’s surgery plan.

In his personal Instagram account, @wanda_hamidah, this former presenter uploaded post with the caption, “I regret using Prudential insurance.”

He specifically mentioned that the type of product he used was sharia insurance.

In column caption, he explained about his son’s knee surgery plan, after having had this problem since 2019. Unfortunately, this insurance can only provide coverage of Rp 10 million, out of an estimated total cost of Rp 50 million-Rp 60 million.

Even though he admitted that he had been a customer since 2009 and had never used this insurance at all.

“I am a Prudential insurance user from 2009 / the red card. Me and my three children Rp 500 thousand / month. After Malakai was born, I added another child to be insured (health). A total of five family members. Last year, 2020, I upgraded all of them to black card, the fee increases to Rp. 750 thousand and Rp. 1 million,” Wanda wrote in her account, quoted on Monday (11/10/2021).

“Almost 12 years we have used @id_prudential insurance, we have never used it,” he added.

Because it is only covered at a very low cost compared to the operating costs, Wanda feels cheated by the insurance she uses.

“I feel scammed! I was completely cheated.. Sad and hurt mixed into the same insurance @id_prudential. What is all this insurance? It’s sweet when you offer it… I feel like closing down all my insurance…,” the story.
