The Los Angeles Rams have one of the best rosters in the league this season. Head coach Sean McVay (35) and general manager Les Snead (50) have assembled a team that can rightly hope for the Super Bowl title. BILD explains why and how the home game in the Super Bowl could come about!
The Rams were formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1936. This makes them one of the oldest teams in the NFL. In 1946, the Cleveland Rams moved to Los Angeles, California for financial reasons. When the team tried in vain to build a stadium in Los Angeles in the early 1990s, the team decided to relocate again. In 1995, the Rams moved to St. Louis, Missouri. There the St. Louis Rams were able to win the biggest title in the club’s history with the Super Bowl success in 1999. The Rams only returned to LA in 2016. Since then they have made the NFL playoffs three times.
Sean McVay has been the Rams’ head coach since 2017. As the youngest head coach in NFL history, he was able to lead his team to the Super Bowl in 2019. The Rams narrowly lost the final 13-3 to the New England Patriots.

In order to have a home game in the Super Bowl, the Rams must get through the playoffs. In the first round they meet the Arizona Cardinals. Tonight at 2:15 a.m. the Rams host the Cardinals. The winner of the match will advance to the second playoff round.
