Wall Street opens in green and Alphabet shares rise – 2024-04-16 12:52:32

Wall Street opened this Tuesday in green and the Dow Jones Industrialsits main indicator, rose a slight 0.03%, to 38,906 points, while investors await new data on inflation.

Fifteen minutes after the trading floor opened, the selective S&P 500 rose 0.27% to 5,216 points, and the technological Nasdaq rose 0.52% to 16,338 points.

This week, investors await the publication of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) looking for more clues about the date of the expected rate cuts of the Federal Reserve (Fed).
