The artist Wafaa Amer criticized the attack campaign that the artist Youssef Al Sharif was subjected to after his statement for refusing to present any hot scenes or carrying suggestions in his works. She also criticized the description of some of him as brothers.
Wafa Amer said in her statements to “Masrawy”: “Youssef El-Sharif is not my brother, as some have claimed, but he is a committed man and he is free to express his opinion whether he accepts the contact or not, he is free.”
“Why is he attacked and described as my brothers? Why do we not seek an excuse for him, for example, his wife may be jealous for him? Or for other reasons that make him a condition in his business contracts not to provide such scenes?”
And she continued: “The attack on Youssef Sharif is a form of unwanted bullying.”
And she added: “Frankly, I love the art of Youssef El Sharif, as he is a successful actor and he will continue and the masses will continue to follow him and pursue his actions despite any attack that he tries to harm.”
She concluded her speech by saying, “I watched Youssef El Sharif several series, and her closest to my heart (unknown number and the fisherman), but I did not see the end, but it is a very successful work.”
It is worth noting that the artist Youssef Al-Sharif recently sparked a state of controversy among the pioneers of social media because of his recent statements regarding his refusal to present hot scenes and writing this within the terms of his artwork contracts.
