According to Frequin, he performed “half a year” before recording Better late than never in marriage. In The Telegraph tells the presenter that he was “consciously” married on July 29, his father’s birthday, to Gesina Lodewijkx at Laren town hall.
The 78-year-old Frequin has been together with the 58-year-old Lodewijkx since 2011. In 2014, the presenter decided not to marry his girlfriend. “It is also going well between us without being married,” he explained at the time.
Frequin was married three times before. In 2010, his marriage to Susan Rastin ended after three years.
